Mine and Rebecca’s Gig

As an SAP Mentor, I always wanted to have a thought-leadership session, where I wanted to showcase the power that SAP Procurement Solutions bring to the overall SAP Road-map and Strategy. Our session cut across all the quadrants of SAP Procurement, Supplier Relationship Management, SupplierInfoNet and more.

Carolyn Beal our anchor from Procurement Solution Marketing, was tweeting live from the event so that our SAP Procurement community that was streamed via the twitter social stream had a seamless overview of the SAP Inside Track Washington DC with one powerful hash-tag #SAPITWDC.

…So lets see the excerpts and visuals of the entire day along the blogroll…#wishyouwerethere

Why the Q&A?

With so many new diversified offerings from the SAP Procurement shop, it became necessary for a session like this to help bring the community, customers, partners and end-users on the same page with the latest. Procurement topics covered as Q&A: SAP SRM, SAP Sourcing, SupplierInfoNet, CrossGate SAP IIC, SAP Rapid Deployment Solutions, Mobility in procurement, On-demand.

As I mentioned earlier, the session was also streamed live on Adobe Connect and Carolyn Beal from SAP Procurement Solution Marketing anchored the twitter stream using the hash-tag #SAPITWDC and #SAPSRM.

Many other SAP Mentors and SAP Employees including passionate customers also joined hands in tweeting the highlights and the raving answers that Rebecca was coming up with.

SAP Procurement is a passionate area for me as well for Rebecca Hughes who is a Solution Manager from SAP Labs and is an expert in the area of SAP Supplier Relationship Management and SAP Public Sector Solutions (SAP PPS)
