After co-innovating with Lenovo the prototype of Mobile Clinical Pathway, which helped to open the mobile healthcare market in China, Global Soft (GS) and SAP China have extended the co-innovation model to work with hospitals which have clinical and operational requirements for mobile applications.
At the end of September, we were invited to develop local mobile EMR Point-of-Care (POC) for Shanghai Zhongshan Hospital. With the joint efforts from the SAP China and the GS healthcare team and Shanghai Zhongshan Hospital, we managed to develop the prototype within only 20 days and delivered it one week before SAPPHIRE Now Beijing.
Mr. Yin, CIO of Shanghai Zhongshan Hospital, was invited to SAPPHIRE on November 15 and 16 to demonstrate and promote the application in person at our mobile healthcare demo pod together with the demo staff from GS. The application was connected to the live backend system in Zhongshan hospital through 3G network, amazing SAP China MD Hera Siu and the crowd.
As the demo pod was so hot, Ecosystem Zone nominated the booth to be covered by China Network Television (China Network Television) and I was invited to talk about mobile healthcare on Weibo’s (a microblogging service provider in China) live broadcasting.
