On December 15 please join our Portal experts Vitaly Vainer, Yariv Zur and Ohad Yassin from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. CET for the first “tweetchat” of the SAP NetWeaver Portal team. The topic of this first tweetchat is “Author Business Sites with SAP on demand Portal”.
Our experts will be on Twitter answering questions about the “SAP on demand Portal” strategy and give a deeper inside into this project.

The tweetchat will be moderated by Vera Gutbrod using our Portal Twitter account @Portal_SAP. You can connect with the tweetchat moderator before the chat. You can send for example some questions or your expectations. You can start with this already now! Send the questions and statements directly to our SAP Portal Twitter channel @Portal_SAP (http://twitter.com/#!/PORTAL_SAP).

During the tweetchat we will be discussing with you:

  • the new cloud based Portal offering which is planned to be available in Q3 2012 and which is targeting light and ad-hoc business sites
  • the beta program which will start in Q1 2012
  • the SAP on demand Portal strategy and how it fits into the SAP’s general on demand strategy
  • the platform of the new solution
  • and we will share with you some interesting new content (new presentations etc.)

What is a TweetChat and How to Participate

What’s a tweetchat? It is similar to a webinar in which the speakers, rather than talking, type out their thoughts in 140 characters or less. And during a tweetchat, rather than using a dial-in number, you follow along with your preferred Twitter app like Tweetdeck, Hootsuite or TweetChat.com.

To participate in our tweetchat, simply log in to the Twitter client of your choice and submit all your questions and statements with the hashtag #Portalchat included. In case you are not using this hashtag, we cannot see what you are tweeting.
We’ll be monitoring the timeline live and responding through the accounts of Vitaly, Yariv and Ohad (@vitalik, @vlvl, @ohad_yassin).
