SAP University Alliances invited all its program members to the SAP Business ByDesign @ University Alliances Info Days at SAP's headquarters in Walldorf / St. Leon-Rot, Germany. The event took place on October 5 -7, 2011 and provideed all interested institutions an overview of SAP Business ByDesign as a teaching platform and its benefits. The Info days started on October 5, 2011 with keynotes about SAP Business ByDesign in academia by member institutions, partners and SAP executives. October 6 and 7 were reserved for hands-on sessions which are especially designed for academia. More information can be found in the agenda.

SAP University Alliances Business ByDesign Info Days in Walldorf/St. Leon-Rot, Germany

On October 5-7, 2011 the EMEA University Alliances team organized the SAP Business ByDesign Info Days in Walldorf/St. Leon-Rot. Nearly 170 member faculty, partners, and pilots from international academic institutions attended the info day and sessions on the following days. In the opening event for selected pilot universities, the global feedback session on October 5th with SAP board member Gerhard Oswald, universities from Austria, China, Germany, India, Switzerland, the UK, and the U.S. participated, shared their experiences, and provided valuable feedback. The Info Day focused on SAP's on-demand strategy, and universities shared their pilot experience and curriculum development plans. Professors also participated in 18 hands-on-sessions. The new software as a service business platform SAP Business ByDesign provides up to date business processing solutions to mid-sized enterprises and is perfectly suitable for research and education.
