SAP Sourcing offers great tools to improve personal productivity. For users who regularly login to SAP Sourcing just to view reports, you may be interested to know that SAP Sourcing can be setup to regularly send those reports to your email mailbox.
The approach is to use “Scheduled Tasks”. Go to Setup, under System Setup tab, choose “Schedule Tasks”. Select “New”, and choose “Report Execution Tasks”.
Give your task a name in “Display Name”, and the “Run As User” to run the report as. Set the run “Frequency” as one-time, daily, weekly, monthly, or according to a custom schedule, and specify the “Start Date”. Then click on the “Advanced Configuration Properties” to define the run details.
Set the report to run in “Report”, and choose the output format of the report in “Query Server Event Action”. You can receive the report as a PDF file, Excel or CSV file.
Fill in the report parameters required for the report run. In “Recipient Account List”, set the Users or Contacts who should receive the report. If your intended recipient is not in Sourcing, you can enter their email in the “Mail Receipients” field.
Once done, save everything, and you only have to wait for SAP Sourcing to send the report to you at the scheduled time.
