Long ago when I was searching for an SAP BW blog I noticed a blog by Craig “30 seconds of recognition”.  It made me to think 30 seconds?  What is it?

Well my mind was struggling like a puzzling!! I stop searching for the actual blog which I was looking for and start reading the blog which talk about the introduction of yourself on SDN! After reading the blog my expression was ‘Introduction in 30 sec?’ Ahh..Huuh ! I waited for  entries  (apart from craig) with my mouth wide open. And when I see entries.. I am like oh this is so and so person.. oh cool.. I used to felt so happy when I see the video of any person’s whose blogs/forums I read.

Since then I started watching Scnotty videos..  This year’s title “Scnottie goes to Bollywood “is seriously an eye catcher!  Initially I felt little shy to post my video… Laugh.. Somehow I shot the video (worse/bad) and uploaded, after uploading the video I was like Uhh.. noo .. Is this my voice? Is this my video?… etc ..etc.. laugh laugh and laugh.. It’s seriously fun.. Isn’t  it?

I didn’t get one in this year.  Too much going on.  No excuse really, I just didn’t have a good idea.

I loved this blog.  It tells a great story.  It is really exactly like the way I felt last year, and I didn’t say it because the words left my mind.  Your voice is perfect.

I’m on my way to watch your Snottie!  I’m sure I’ll have another comment after that!

I know that I did not take these pictures! 🙂

It was great to meet you, as well as a relief that an award winner was in the audience, since I did not know as many people in Bangalore as I have known in prior TechEd events.

You did not mention the name of your award. I would be curious to know if you thought it fit your creation.

I have been thinking about how to make this effort more of a year round community effort. While the SCNotties awards are a lot of fun, it has been a lot of work over the last couple months to get the trophies ready, pick winners, and encourage people to participate.

I was confused to find the scnottie award ceremony at TechEd B’lore, I searched on the Scnottie wiki. No luck :(. Finally I was terribly disappointed that I may not be able to make my presence there! And then I was on a way to attend Design Thinking Workshop.. Surprising!! I saw you there, my face was glowing like a 100 watts bulb.. LoL! When I met you, you congratulated me, am puzzled for a moment..  Sooner you broke the puzzle by announcing the Scnottie awards! I am thrilled by receiving the Raja Harishchandra award!  Am I fit for this? I would say yes!!!.. Well I many not judge myself..
Again thank you so much for such a creative award Jim! Truly appreciate your  efforts in bring this across

Yes, finding the place and time for that award presentation was challenging. In prior TechEd events, I was able to leverage the Expert Lounge, as well as my SAP contacts.  As an outsider (not an SAP staffer, and “not from around here”) in Bangalore, we did not have the exact location until nearly the last minute. We put tweets out, as updating the wiki on the fly was too cumbersome, but you’d have to be scanning the tweet-o-sphere for that. And of course, Marilyn Pratt deserves much credit for diverting from her event planning to help with mine. Glad it worked out for several recipients at least!

            > When I met you, you congratulated me…

I was hoping you had overlooked that “slip of the tongue”! It just came out, and then I thought “Doh, we have not announced the winners yet.” Thanks for being a good sport and not asking me at the time what I was talking about.

The EMEA 2011 SCNotties will be announced in a few hours.  This time, I won’t be revealing any winners ahead of time.

RT @sylviasant The @SCNotties will take place in Hall 8 Room M02 on Wednesday, October 9 at 5:30pm [CET]! http://ow.ly/7mNGr #sapteched
