SAP Customer, All for One, Keeps Projects Rolling Around the Clock, Around the Globe


At SAPPHIRE NOW Madrid, SAP announced the integration of new analytics capabilities in SAP StreamWork that are fast, intuitive and lightweight to make the use of analytics a natural part of the collaborative decision-making process. Prior to SAPPHIRE NOW, we talked with a few SAP StreamWork customers to better understand how they are productively using the cloud-based collaborative decision-making application. All for One is an SAP reseller and customer serving organizations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland that has established a collaboration environment to help keep projects rolling as its engagements become increasingly global.

When SAP reseller and customer All for One needed a better way to unite its teams that service clients daily around the world, it turned to the enterprise edition of SAP StreamWork for a single environment in which everyone could collaborate, drive faster sales cycles and provide better customer service. After implementing SAP StreamWork in just a few hours, the application helped All for One become more effective and efficient in ways it hadn’t anticipated. With more than 400 employees and headquarters in Germany, All for One serves more than 1,000 clients among machinery and equipment manufacturers, automotive suppliers, and project and engineering service providers.

“Today, our sales cycles are much faster and cheaper,” said Oliver Fielitz, senior key account manager, All for One. “Previously, to get people from Germany, the United States and Japan all into the same conversation, given time zone issues we would typically fly everyone to one central location. Now, SAP StreamWork serves as our main workspace – one point of truth that helps us keep projects rolling at all times, with a detailed list of changes and updates made to our chart of accounts and other documents. While it hasn’t replaced all travel – since face-to-face meetings are still very important – it has significantly reduced our travel time and cost.”

Among the benefits of SAP StreamWork, All for One cites the following as having played a role in improving the way its teams collaborate: the application’s ease-of-use; its ability to keep colleagues and partners on the same page with access to the most current data; and its role as a common platform for driving projects forward and supporting international decision-making.

“The value of SAP StreamWork is immediate and easy to see once you start using it,” said Fielitz. “In addition to being embraced by our staff, it has become viral in that we are seeing our customers and partners buying enterprise edition licenses for their organizations.”
