Hmmmm, lots of red on my Burn down chart, as we appear to have entered a dessert where everything we try does not seem to work. Things have got so bad that even trying to e-mail a description of the App we are developing to the organisers isn’t working.

So the next 6 hours are critical if we are going to have any chance of demoing anything at the session tomorrow and the finale in Madrid on Monday. Perhaps it is time to go for a long run to clear my head.

Hopefully all is not lost yet, the team is still positive and the support for the SAP, Adobe and Microsoft guys is good.

So what is our solution all about…….

We focused on how we could use Gateway to expose SAP to Social Media feeds.

Our Influenza App is designed to “listen” to the Social Media feeds (we have enabled facebook but could have looked at Twitter, Streamworks etc). We store these feeds in the SAP Audit Management module (ABAP Survey Monkey) and monitor the trend using BPM.

If BPM spots a negative trend the BPM process alerts the Product Manager  (for the product receiving poor feedback) and prompts them to responding to the negative trends, we have offered 3 options which are engage PR, Get it fixed or Kick a Partner. The process then goes on to automatically “kick” the appropriate party !

This is all augmented with a funky Cockpit that shows the boss what is going on.

Take a Sneak Peek at the Influenza Apphere, hopefully it will be fully functional by 4pm Monday !
