What is a usability study?

A usability study is an online meeting with a usability manager/specialist from SAP and you.  No travel is required.  No webcams are required.  It’s a great way for you to be directly involved in improving our services. It allows us to see and understand where you may have issues. You will join an online meeting and telephone call at a time you’ve mutually agreed to. You’ll then be asked questions regarding the focus of the study and be asked to share your screen with the researcher so they can see how you use that feature. They’ll ask for your feedback, too. There are no right or wrong answers!  The meeting will be recorded for analysis. The usability study is conducted in English.

What is SAProuter?

SAProuter is an application level gateway that allows a network connection between SAP and you.  It needs to be installed and configured by you on your own network. It is the cornerstone of many of the remote access technologies and tools available for you. Are you interested in participating in the SAProuter usability study?

 

Participants interested in the SAProuter usability study should:

•need to install and configure SAProuter

•be new to the SAProuter application and process

•be the person in their company who will perform the installation and configuration of SAProuter

•be willing to sign an SAP Non-Disclosure Agreement

•be willing to install the SAP Connect plug-in for remote screen sharing

•be able to participate in English

 

The usability study is running now and testing will go on for the next 3-4 weeks.  We want to observe you go through the process of installing and configuring SAProuter so we can drive continuous improvements in our applications and processes.
