After months of development work on several different fronts and directions, it appears as though the concept of a sustainable business network (SBN) is emerging from the arms of SAP Research on a limited ramp-up basis.
The concept as described in my attached blog and SAP Insider article earlier in the year provides a social/biz ecohub infrastructure allowing suppliers and brands to cooperated on a "as permissioned" basis (think "friending" on Facebook) to share common scorecards, questionairre responses, and supplier information across a common platform.
With final approvals pending, it is hoped that the ASUG Fall Focus event next month in Anaheim will create a platform to fully demonstrate the capabilities of this new OnDemand offer from SAP.
