The ASUG BusinessObjects User Conference Oct. 9-12 offers some great education sessions, hands-on sessions, and SAP usability testing opportunities.   Recently at SAP TechED Las Vegas we had some great Analysis hands-on sessions and we hope to continue this next month in Orlando.  Below I highlight the BusinessObjects Analysis sessions:

A Roadmap for Multidimensional Data Analysis with the SAP BusinessObjects BI Suite

Gain insight into the SAP vision and strategy for multidimensional data analysis. With the release 4.0 of SAP BusinessObjects BI solutions, SAP customers gain access to different solutions designed to access multidimensional data sources.  This session explores which solutions are best suited for different analysis use cases and for which of the most popular OLAP data sources in the market. Examine technical prerequisites and learn the SAP BusinessObjects product roadmap for multidimensional data analysis in the suite of BI solutions. SAP BusinessObjects Voyager users will learn practical guidance to transition to the latest release of SAP BusinessObjects BI solutions in their existing OLAP server environment.

If you are using BusinessObjects Voyager, you will want to consider this session.

A Deep Dive of SAP BusinessObjects Analysis, Edition for OLAP

This session will present a "deep dive" of the feature set of SAP BusinessObjects Analysis, edition for OLAP, the new web-based OLAP tool in the SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.0 suite and the successor to BusinessObjects Voyager. Special attention will be focused on using the product with Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services and the changes introduced in 4.0.The majority of the session will be focused on live demonstrations of the product.

Ian Mayor, SAP, will provide an in-depth demo of the solution.

ASUG Influence Council: SAP BusinessObjects Analysis

Join SAP’s Ian Mayor for an update on this council.  This council has been looking at the backlog for Analysis and to the future with Analysis OLAP as a replacement for Voyager.  We had a great session at TechED earlier this month where feedback was obtained from several customers and hope to continue that in October in Orlando.
