Continued from My earlier Blog (Realizing Web Services Inter-Operability using SAP PI 7.1) in the series. *Clue No.2. The URL in the WSDL should contain the FQDN*The solution is to update the FQDN in the parameters *URL* and *SecureURL* for CIM Class *SAP_HTTPServicePort *corresponding to SOAP Adapter in SLD. SAP Note 1583506 should be useful for more details.

*Clue No.3. The End point URL should be HTTPS enabled and the certificate of the server should be signed by Enterprise-wide Certification Authority (CA)*

 If the HTTPS port is enabled on the server ( A way to check this is via transaction SMICM -> Goto ->Services ), the WSDL generated should automatically carry two ports - HTTP as well as HTTPS.
