I had the great pleasure of attending Jon Reed’s Social Media Expert Networking Session at SAP TechEd Las Vegas.

Jon really knows how to get a good discussion started that brings out engaging content and multiple opinions.

I particularly enjoyed the part where we talked about “your brand on social media”. The bottom line is that while you should be yourself on social media, be your “public self” not your “in the pub with my buddies self” :-).

Enjoy the video recordings (and apologies for the movement; blame the camera woman):

First, I agree…Jon really knows how to start off a big show and then sit back and direct as needed….ie. the Ring Master of the circus. haha

Second, thanks for sharing. I can’t be there this year and this sure helps “ease the pain”. haha

    Hello Natascha,

Thank you for getting us some extra juice on social media! I follow John and am familiar with his work, but on this informal session he made translucent some other very interesting aspects.
I try to filter what I broadcast and he made a very good case why this is important. Another great point for me was: “if you create something worthy you won’t need to advertise..”

    Best regards,
    Marlo Simon.
