The Bollywood Edition of SCNotties 2011 is upon us.  For those who don’t know, it’s the Academy Awards…. the Filmfare awards equivalent for The SAP Community Network.

On a SCN star studded nights during SAP TechEd Bangalore SAP Mentor extraordinaire Jim Spath who is travelling to Bangalore this time, will give out the awards for the best/wackiest/out-of-the-world  30 Seconds Performance by any member of the community. Well there are not one but many categories that you can be nominated for and win ! All you need to do is get in front of the camera and just be YOU ! 30 seconds… ain’t much right ?

If you are looking for inspiration, look no further than the 2010 SCNotty entries and the 2011 SCNotty entries for Las Vegas. If you are not looking for inspiration, go ahead and click the links anyways, I guarantee you would have some of the most enjoyable and funny moments of your life and in the process get to know a little bit more about the members of the community.

Here’s my entry for the SCNotties :

So what are you waiting for ? Let loose your inner Shahrukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan or Amitabh Bachchan and who knows, you can be in the next Karan Johar blockbuster 😉

It’s the first time I’ve heard about SCNotties. Who did create this contest? What can anyone do to participate? what do you have to show or say in your video?

SCNotties sounds so interesting so I want to know more bout it

    Cheers

      Erika:

“Who did create this contest”? – that would be me.  The past 2 years, plus this year, we’ve had SAP community members submit videos for a contest at TechEd.  This year, awards were given at Las Vegas, and will be in Bangalore and Madrid, assuming enough entries to make it a contest.

Details are in the wiki – search for “30 seconds of recognition”. Even if you didn’t make the deadline for Las Vegas 2011, go ahead and post your entry.  Knowing who you are can only enhance your positive recognition within the SAP community.

      Jim
