The process chain is failed with the error Archiving session lock. When we tried to delete the request it was not possible. The job for deleting the request is successfully executed but still the request exists in the DSO.
This is due to the archiving job is security check enabled and if we are trying the load the data which falls under the previous archiving selection regions, it will create a dead lock and terminates the job.
Fix: Call the transaction RSODSACTREQ and give the selections as shown in the below screen and delete the particular request. Once it’s successfully deleted, make sure the data for the archived session is reloaded from the archived job by calling the transaction SARA (or) another alternate way is delete the archived selection region data from the load by filtering the data to the current fiscal period and reload it.
Eg: They have selected the archived job as security check against the archived data that’s why this problem raised. Actually they archived the 1999 data but this time again one record which fiscal year = 1999 has come. If you check the security check then it won’t allow the data which belongs to already archived area. So that’s the main problem involved in this issue. We unchecked the setting and we transported to production then from now onwards it’s not showing the error. Have a look at the following screens.
