As you are completing your SAP TechEd conference filled with the many great educational and hands on sessions, consider including one or more of the ASUG Influence Council sessions for business intelligence (BI) and enterprise information management (EIM) in your schedule. 

The ASUG Influence sessions are planned to be interactive and discussion-oriented, and some will include presentations from SAP about future product and roadmap direction. This is a unique opportunity for you to give feedback to SAP about current product development and help SAP shape a strategy for the future. SAP welcomes input from all users at these sessions, so make your voice heard and attend.

Join Pierpaolo Vezzosi and SAP Mentor/ASUG Volunteer  Derek Loranca in this session about the Semantic Layer.  I heard many positive comments about this session from ASUG Annual Conference.

BI151   ASUG Influence Council: SAP BusinessObjects Analysis

Join Joyce Butler, ASUG Volunteer, Cameron International and Alex Peter, SAP, for an update on this council.  This council has been looking at the backlog for Analysis and the roadmap(s) to the future.  Alex promises a sneak peek look at the next version of Analysis, MS Edition for Office.

BI152   ASUG Influence: SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise Influence Council 

This council was re-launched this year with a team of 30 participants.  Kevin Geiger, Kimberly-Clark, is the ASUG Customer Chair for this council.

BI251   ASUG Influence: Best Practices for SAP NetWeaver BW and SAP BusinessObjects BI

Join Uwe Palm, SAP, and Uday Gupta, J. Crew, for demos of this solution and they will review the results of Wave 1.  We already have a great success story from this council and don’t miss the enthusiastic Uwe Palm.  See how this ASUG Influence Council has already influenced SAP!

BI250   ASUG Influence: SAP BusinessObjects Explorer Casual User Influence Council 

Cathy Kennedy, Deloitte, is the ASUG Customer Chair for this council and will provide an update along with SAP’s Mani Srinivasan.  This council hit the ground running discussing ideas and issues when they first launched this Spring.

BI252   ASUG Influence: SAP BusinessObjects Mobile BI Influence Council

Karsten Ruf, SAP, will provide an update on the Mobile BI solution.  This council has just recently started.

EIM250 ASUG Influence: Enterprise Data Warehouse Customer Influence Council Update

This long-running council has focused in the past on BW 730.   How will HANA fit in the BW picture?  Come find out from Brian Wood, SAP, and Eric Leicht, Kimberly-Clark.

EIM350 ASUG Influence: SAP BusinessObjects Information Management Influence Council

Ina Mutschelknaus will discuss SAP BusinessObjects products, including Data Integrator, Data Quality, Information Steward, Data Federator, Rapid Marts, and Text Analysis.
