SAP TechEd may have snuck up on you. Maybe you have been promising yourself that you would get ready one of these days. With TechEd US right around the corner, I’d suggest that it’s a good time to start thinking about your agenda. Whether security and compliance is your full time focus or something that is just part of your work scope, I think you will find lots of great learning opportunities again this year. The special thing about SAP TechEd in Las Vegas is that, once again, ASUG has collaborated with SAP to provide customer-led content so that you can learn from SAP customer successes and challenges, in their own words.

Let’s get one thing out on the table right up front: there are no hands-on sessions on SAP GRC 10.0 scheduled for SAP TechEd this year. It’s not exactly a surprise; this release just went into general availability a few weeks ago, long after the sessions for this year’s conference were planned. However, there is still plenty of learning available to you. You can plan on learning about GRC10.0 and other hot topics. Here are some of the highlights this year’s agenda has in store.

1.    SAP GRC 10.0 – Yes, despite the absence of hands-on sessions, there is a good variety of educational content on GRC 10.0.When planning your agenda, look for these sessions:

These sessions are facilitated by TechEd speakers, SAP Mentors, personnel from SAP’s Regional Implementation Group, and other community leaders. Keep your eye out for these sessions, which are expected to be available in the agenda planner very soon, including these on security:
