New Prototype Drives Electricity Workers into the Future

One of SAP’s latest research innovations is a brand new prototype that has been developed to ease logistical and operational processes for electricity workers. SAP researchers from Darmstadt helped deliver the innovative application for this year’s SAPPHIRE NOW in Orlando.

Service technicians can benefit from new functionalities on their mobile devices in two different scenarios: “My Work” provides information on upcoming tasks and displays the geo-location of required and optional asset data on a map, while “Follow Me” locates the worker’s current position and all assets in a predefined distance.
