Hey Greg, Natascha, I am looking forward to the SCNotties, as always.
I am not sure I can contribute though, as I don’t look like Elvis, have black doggies, or do Yoga.
    Oh well 🙂
    1. Greg Myers
You need to be more “Glass half-full”! You have sunshine doggies, ninjas, and needy programmers in your midst. I’m sure you can come up with something to submit this year.
      1. Susan Keohan
Ha.  Nobody has *ever* accused me of being ‘Glass half-empty’!  It seems from your suggestions that you would prefer that I do not do another Sally Struthers PSA.  Well, the gauntlet has been thrown down, and I accept your challenge sir!
PS: How much should I pay you and Natascha

We can work out payment on DM Twitter. Tammy also asked what the judging criteria are :-).

Seriously, you could defy us and make an anti-Elvis movie, maybe even Justin Bieber (not sure Greg could take it), but Elvis is only a suggestion (and you’ll be more likey to win, JK)…please, we loved your past submission. Would not be SCNotties without you. How about you make a video with the famous #workhusband?

What a great way to have fun with a personal touch.  I by the way – have no editing software.  I’ll try again this year to create something.  They don’t seem to care if it has been a better quality with an editor or simply someone talking via a camera video recorder.  It’s amazing, it’s fun, and the more that do it the more fun videos we get to see.

How many YouTube videos are out there?  Quite a bit.  Are they all good?  Yes.  Really????  Not hardly.  But some of the worst ones are the funniest to watch.  A lot of them have not been edited and still people watch.

So please, pretty please, submit a video.  I know we will all enjoy watching it!

I, by the way, don’t mind people laughing “at” me – that means they are happy.  And it makes me smile.  If they are laughing with me – we both are happy!  So don’t be afraid.   I would love to laugh with you.  Or watch something about you serious or not!  You don’t have to be creative either.  Just have fun.

      Great attitude, as always.

I don’t like people laughing at me, as you can tell from my vidoe. I am very serious when I slowly lift up my behind into the camera into headstand. My mother would say “always a lady” :-). Can’t wait for your video. I just used my Mac and the video functionality on photo booth. What’s editing?

    Hello Natascha

I checked out some of the videos of last year and they were surely entertaining. I really like the one from Martin Gillet, nice one.

When I said I would join in for a session of Yoga I wasn’t expecting head stands or hand stands. I can at most lift my leg up and stay in that position standing on one leg.

I’ll try to come up with something, dunno to what extent it will be any good but I’ll probably give it a shot anyway, like Michelle sais it’s fun.

    Kind regards

    Hi Greg and Natascha,

Love that you kept the category: Best Accordion Film Music.
I may after all have a chance 🙂

It is going to be fun. Viva Las Vegas.

    See you all there, Mark.

    Hi Natasha and Greg,

This call is for Las Vegas. Will there be another call for Bangalore and Madrid?

Can you only submit for TechEds that you physically present?

    Just wondering, Mark.

Mark, cute how you ask a question to clarify for everybody else. Always the wolf pack leader.

And, while Greg is right that getting an award in person is great, we’d love vidoes from anybody who is game, as the goal is to get to know each other, have fun, and I think as far as Greg is concerned, listen to some good Elvis :-).

Good stuff – looking forward to it and will spend the next weeks brainstorming.

(BTW, the top video won’t play in Germany due to licensing issues… :/)
