Vegas, Baby! The clock is ticking, and as always, SAP TechEd Las Vegas has an almost overwhelming list of must-attend sessions. Which ones should you go to?
Well, I certainly hope to meet you at one of my two Social Media-Focused Expert Networking Sessions at the Community Clubhouse (Venetian Ballroom, Level 2), in Lounge 5:
“You on Twitter” Session Details
If you have been thinking about setting up your own Twitter account, this session is for you. Learn how to get started, terminology, the dos and don’ts, basic etiquette, tools to use and how to measure impact. Also get your burning questions answered.
“Your Personal Brand on Social Media” Session Details
Do you Tweet, participate on LinkedIn, SCN, FB, post videos, write blogs, or are you planning to? Either way, it’s paramount that you think about the personal brand you are building through your online presence – and this should not be an afterthought. Join to learn and discuss.’
And an update as of August 30th: Sylvia Santelli of SCN has kindly agreed to co-host my social media sessions to add some extra brain power!
OTHER SOCIAL MEDIA RELATED SESSIONS
- I noticed a Social Networking session by mentor Jon Reed (aka JonERP) on Tuesday at noon in Lounge 5 that sounds compelling.
- On Wednesday at 9:15 AM, there’s a session about social media and data that I intend to visit: “Find Out What Customers Are Saying: The Good, the Bad & the ugly!” in EIM 108.
- Then at 11:30 AM, Michele Crapo has a cool sounding session planned in Lounge 5: How to Learn new Technology. This sounds topical. Too bad it competes with Sharon Haver’s session Build your own network with SAP StreamWork in Lounge 2, at the same time. Tough choices!
- On Thursday, at 11:30 AM, again in Lounge 5, a session on CRM BPX Community by Stephen Johannes. Yes, I put that on my calendar. Then at 3:30 PM, Kirby Leong will hold a session in Lounge 1 about the Business Analytics Community on SCN. Last, at 5:00 PM, Tammy Powlas is hosting Meet an SAP Community Network Moderator (Blogs & Forums) in Lounge 5. Like! +1.
To close, here some official tips from the #SAPTechEd team on “Getting Social at SAP TechEd“.
At the time I publish this blog, I cannot see a URL to the official expert networking session on the SAP TechEd site yet; I will add the URL as soon as possible, so you can include the sessions in your agenda builder.
