I've just spent some time going over the MyBI Mobile solution with the guys at Exxova and this is truly awesome! Not only does it provide for viewing of Xcelsius, Crystal and Webi reports all without changing a single item of their design but you can also create new content on the tablet of your choice i.e. iOS, Android or Windows mobile devices.

Couple that with the ability to implement and administer large scale numbers of users and this has to be of major interest to any organisation considering how to 'mobilise' their content.

Best of all, the folks at SAP are working alongside Exxova to ensure that their large Enterprise clients can get their SAP content delivered across mobile devices in a matter of weeks rather than months!

      Hi Nic,
How is this solution different from the one SAP showcased in TechEd in Vegas. Does this offering pull live data from the backend or it is pretty much static like the SAP BI Mobile solution.

      Hi Venkat,

Not sure what the solution was that SAP showcased but I can tell you definitely that the MyBI offering from Exxova not only enables you to use Xcelsius as if it were on your laptop but also enables all of the SAP BI stack to be mobile as well!!
The rendition of your Xcelsius models onto the mobile device (covers IOS and Android as well) is fully functional with access to all areas of Xcelsius and what is more wihtout having to change a single component in your model - Awesome!
The other main attractions of the offering are that it is available immediately and is already up and working in a substantial number of projects and it is also very competitvely priced.
If you'd like to experience it for yourself just drop me a line at and I'll organise it for you

I see in my enthusiasm I did not answer your specific question but let me do so now. The MyBI solution does enable you to deploy externally connected Xcelsius models and has 'smarts' enough to help you to establish a really efficient querying paradigm which will enable you to use larger data sets than you might otherwise think of using with Xcelsius.
