It is so hard to believe it is less than two months away from SAP TechED Las Vegas.  I simply can't wait.  As Sue   Keohan says "tick-tock, tick-tock".  Play this video to feel the excitement of fellow community members:

I particularly like KK Ramamoorthy's statement that it is not about marketing, but what the product can do.  He   also speaks to the excitement of seeing SAP Community people in person.  For myself, I have the great honor of assisting Ingo Hilgefort's BI 4.0 Hands-on Tools in a Day ASUG Pre-Conference session, which is now sold out.  There are three other great ASUG pre-conference sessions listed here.

It is also about real-life customer stories in these upcoming ASUG education sessions.  Coca Cola will talk about Best Practices for Implementing iPAD Mobile BI with SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.0.  Coca Cola will also discuss Lessons Learned Using SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.0 with SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse.  Newell Rubbermaid, always at the forefront of new technology, talks about their BW 7.3 and Business Object 4.0 upgrade experience.

Who wants to hear a real life story about HANA?  Attend ASUG Education session SAP HANA 1.0 Implementation at Medtronic.  Pacific Coast's session "Consume SAP on your mobile device in under an hour" captures my interest as well.  SAP Mentor Tony de Thomasis will talk about "Solution Manager Top 10 Operational Excellence reports" - who doesn't want more out of Solution Manager?  Will SAP Mentor Thorsten Franz "take you to the River" as the song goes in his session "Take me to the River: Rapid Edge Innovation in the Cloud with SAP River".

SAP TechED Las Vegas is also co-located with Sybase Techwave.  I like their justification template to management as to why you should attend.  As a former accountant, I appreciate their cost-benefit analysis too in the ROI Calculator.  You could reuse these (with different costs for TechED) to justify going to TechED.
