Installation Guides
I am sure you went through this: After having purchased a brand new device you try to get it run. But documentation tells you to press buttons that do not even exist. Time for an update, right? As this scenario seems to hold for every kind of technical documentation, where improvements first make it into the product but late if ever into the guides, we, the SAP on IBM i development team, decided to improve the situation in our own little world. We worked in all the feedback we received and also did our own regression testing to find glitches here and there. But that's not the complete story. We also put attention to ease of use and tried to eliminate some redundancies.
