Title: Cloud, Virtualization, and Appliance Deployments: Cutting Through the Hype And Exploiting The Right ...

Date: June 28, noon Eastern
Description:

Go beyond the hype and discover how SAP is approaching systems deployment in physical, virtual, and cloud environments today and in the future. Now is the time to ask: what new solutions are possible as a result of these new deployment models? How can my company leverage them for new capabilities, cost reduction, and more productive employees?

Capitalizing on these different models involves understanding today's options and the concepts that will shape the IT deployment of tomorrow. Learn how SAP’s High Performance Analytical Appliance (HANA) is leveraging the appliance model to accelerate and simplify BI deployments. Understand how BI OnDemand and other Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions, such as SAP StreamWork, impact your cloud strategy. Come to this session to examine use case scenarios that illustrate the opportunities to apply virtualization, appliance, and cloud concepts in your own organization.

1. Overview of cloud, virtualized, and appliance deployment models.
2. How to determine which of these new models could be applied to your own IT environment.
3. Showcase of SAP solutions that leverage these models (with a focus on HANA, BI On Demand, SAP StreamWork).

Title: Transforming SAP Software’s Data Management: One SAP for Data Quality
Date: July 21, 2:00 pm Eastern

Description:
Data at SAP is vital to our business; customer and account data quality management has been a focus at SAP for the past two years. As a result, SAP has built an effective data management approach, data quality processes, and best-practice operational improvements that address the key data inhibitors. This includes successful development of data governance, standards, and measurement capabilities using tools such as SAP BusinessObjects software. Their “One SAP for Data Quality” vision is built on key capabilities that can be adapted by other organizations with similar data challenges. Thus, our presentation will focus on SAP's data management approach with details on the required organizational, technology, process, and measurement capabilities, including the best practices and lessons learned.
