LA: SAP Latin America Design & Usability Awareness Campaign 2011
In today’s world, where everybody is so much after “the experience”, we must be able to deliver not only what our customers want, but most importantly, what they desire. At DKOM 2011, our co-CEO, Jim Snabe, stated that there are two ways to making this happen: SPEED and DESIGN. To be speedier, we must focus on the essential scope, so that we avoid waste and be faster. He also said that the way we will achieve that is through Design Thinking so that we deliver solutions that are viable, feasible, and desirable. Our co-CEO wants all developers to go through Design Thinking trainings, so that they understand the importance of understanding the users.
This campaign is Labs LA first step to get there.
In order to raise the awareness about Design Thinking among Development teams from SAP Labs Latin America, we engaged all local developers in a series of focus sessions around Design Thinking and Usability. By listening to professors from local and national universities and SAP colleagues from other locations who already practice Design Thinking, we expect to open the door to future joint initiatives between SAP and the involved Universities.
