How to control visibility of Tabs in Blueprint Transaction of SAP Solution Manager
SAP Solution Manager supports entire Project throughout Business Blueprint to the configuration to production processing. It provides central access to tools, methods and preconfigured contents which can be used during evaluation, implementation and operational processing of our systems.
During any sort of SAP project implementation many times we face a scenario where we have several other tools being used in addition to SAP Solution Manager.So the level of documentation is also decided and therefore based upon the approach we can hide unwanted Tabs in Blueprint Transaction which are used for Storing or Documenting the entire Project Documentation or End User Roles or administration of Business Processes etc.

Based upon requirement, we create a Solution Manager Project which can be
- Implementation
- Maintenance
- Template
- Upgrade
Here we are assuming a project is already created with Blueprint structure.
To hide a tab for a project,enter transaction code Solar_project_admin
Choose the project and double click it to enter
Now goto Project Standards Tab and click Tabs.By default the following standard set of settings are shown
Now to hide the End User Roles Tab just click goto Blueprint Visibilty Column and choose the value as Invisible from Dropdown.
Now Press the save button the below Status Bar message appears.
Yes we have hidden the Tab End User Roles tab in Blueprint transaction of Solar01 using the above steps in SAP Solution Manager.
Now goto Solar01 transaction in SAP Solution Manager and click as shown.
Thus above all the steps shows how we can configure or hide unwanted tabs in Solution Manager based upon our requirement.
