Logwatch tool for collecting Portal traces (defualtTraces)

Logwatch tool

I would like to share this tool with Portal experts in order to make things easier to get the relevant logs when analyzing a Portal issue. Collecting the information from defaultTrace file at runtime and it allows you also to increase the log severity for a specific component location to get more detailed information in the logs.

      Thanks a lot Michael / Tushar ,
good point, it is also possible to search for it in the notes: "logwatch" or for the note number as well.

      Anyway I've corrected the link.

      Regards,
      Edison

We get this error if we open this URL without having another Admin session open, because it is under high_safety Zone.

      Access denied (Object(s): com.sap.portal.system/security/sap.com/NetWeaver.Portal/high_safety/com.sap.tc~ep~common~logWatch/components/LogWatchView)
