/LSA315/ LSA Scalability InfoSources & Single ERP Source

Background

With the new Data Flow Template feature it is now possible describing LSA standards directly in BW.

With BW 7.30 there comes a set of 10 LSA data flow templates as an initial offering.

This blog describes the LSA Data Flow Template LSA315 that illustrates, compared to LSA310, a simplified usage of InfoSources for high quality data from SAP application sources.

For general information about LSA Data Flow Templates please refer to

Description

LSA315 is a simplified template based on LSA310. We can often simplify the early stages without losing the advantages of LSA, especially with high quality loaded data from a single SAP ERP system.  The data can then be accepted more or less directly from the source into the PSA.

Corporate Memory Layer (CM)

In general,  an InfoSource is not required in front of a CM DSO, as semantic partitioning of CM DataStore objects is not recommended.
