As of SAP NetWeaver MDM 7.1 Support Package 07, the software fully supports secure communication using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. With this SSL support, communication between MDM clients and servers is encrypted to prevent unauthorized parties from accessing sensitive data.
