That short description that's usually just the "teaser" just about says it all this time:

"Just two DMM revisions in today's Postal Bulletin - updated language on reasons a permit can be revoked and removal of the section on the POSTNET Barcode Certification Program."

You might want to know that the additional reason for possibly revoking a permit is if you fail to use the permit or pay its fees for a period of two years - keep that mail coming!

The POSTNET Barcode Certification Program evidently got referenced in changes to the Price List, Notice 123, in the January 2011 udpates, "although it has not been offered since 2008." So they're removing it from DMM section 509.

The next PB will be June 2. Being the first PB in an even-numbered month, it would normally be an issue with Label List changes, but checking ribbs (https://ribbs.usps.gov/labeling_lists/documents/tech_guides/schedule.PDF) I see the updates will be in the DMM on 6/6 but not in the PB until 6/16. So next month will be one of those longer stretches where the DMM will make it look like some mailings were prepared incorrectly, even though the mandatory date is not until 8/20.

So be ready for that possibility. We should have a copy of the article that will appear in the 6/16 PB by then, so contact us if you run into issues with labeling.
