I was reading cradle to cradle. A book about building products that are enviormentatal useble for the entire lifecycle. Does it also apply to software developmet?

I crated a small video rant about the topic. Hope you find it interesting.

You can see my rant at

It is defantly something that I need to apply into my developer patterns. I’m not quite sure how it is possible but I hope that I find a solution.

    Hi Daniel,
I was really hoping for someone in this community to speak about this when I posted my [last blog|Between You and Me: There’s more to sustainability than Reduce-Reuse-Recycle] on sustainability.

I’m not sure if McDonough and Braungart considered software design when they wrote their book (or if it was only bricks and mortar products and organizations). Considering the impact of consuming products and services on the environment should be done at the design stage – even if that product is digital content.

Thanks for sharing your views with the community!
