Tony liked the event format very much (at that point in time it was called InnovationWeekend) and was eager to let the SAP community in Australia have the same experience that he had while participating in the event in Las Vegas. We connected with Kim Salter who runs the SAUG summits in Australia and came up with the plan to have an SAP InnoJam right before the SAUG summit 2011.
While looking for a suitable venue Kim connected us with Associate Professor Dr. Bernhard Wieder from the UTS Business School in Sydney. Bernhard liked the idea very much and offered us to hold the event on the UTS Business School campus.
