I get it. I understand. I have seen the light!
I finally get how awesome SAP Community Network is. I suppose I have known for some time that there is something special going on here, but all the doubts are officially gone.
When others ask me, “What do you do?”, I find myself mostly describing the magic that takes place in our online community. “There are blogs…there are forums…there are these rugby wearing Mentors…” Before I get to what I actually do, I feel a big need to share what I have seen: the trust that has been built form members across the globe, the accountability that community members feel, the experts that step up, the quickness of the community (some questions being answered in a few short minutes!) and the amount of fun everyone has! No wonder we are continually growing. At last count we are a community of over 2.4 million members. (WoW!)
The past few months, I have had the opportunity to hear why other community members continue to engage. In fact, my team and I have been cataloguing all their stories and quotes in the Run Better with SAP Community Network wiki. We are using those stories to let others know the benefits of joining and the benefits of contributing their expertise to the mix.
But, it is an incomplete list, because we haven’t heard from you! I invite you to take a few minutes now, at lunch, or on your coffee break to fill out a shortquestionnaire and share your story with us. We would like to hear your testimony. How were you able to get that project done ahead of schedule because of the forums? Were you able to grow professionally because of the webcasts? How has your network expanded? Did you finish that project under budget because of advice from community members?
