Open Source Business Conference 2011
This year, SAP is again sponsoring and participating in the Open Source Business Conference (OSBC), which is scheduled for May 16-17 in San Francisco, California. I think that all four conference tracks (Big Data, Big Cloud, Big Legal, and Big Innovation) will be relevant and informative. It was actually quite difficult to choose a track for our own active participation. I finally decided that it would make most sense to join Tim Yeaton, CEO from Open Source – from whitespace to Black Duck, in his panel on Multi-Source Development in Today’s World of Cloud Computing. We will discuss the relationship between open source and cloud computing, particularly the economic and legal implications. Will certainly be interesting – have a look at the conference agenda yourself.
Unfortunately, the conference runs in parallel to SAPPHIRE NOW & ASUG Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida, but if you happen to be interested nevertheless, please let me know at claus dot von dot riegen at sap dot com – I do have a few customer tickets left that I’d be happy to offer.
