When the ASUG HCM community gathered in January to plan this year’s educational material for the SAPPHIRE-ASUG Annual Conference, the team looked beyond basic HR and Payroll functionality to deliver a comprehensive look at tools SAP delivers to recruit, manage and compensate talent.  As a result, on SUNDAY, MAY 15TH, we are pleased to be able to offer a PRE-CONFERENCE SEMINAR:  Integrated Talent Management: Insight from the Experts This is a full day seminar that is intended to show developers and users how the various components of SAP can link together to form a process that manages talent from the very beginning of a company’s attempt to design their organization structure, thru recruiting, training, assessing and then appraising and compensating employees.  The intent of the seminar is not only to show the SAP solutions, but to engage attendees in an ongoing discussion about how SAP technology can solve the problems and issues.

Join the discussion.  As a consumer of HR services, what are your needs, your desires, your gripes?  As a developer of solutions, what can you offer?  That’s what the pre-conference seminar on Integrated Talent Management is poised to do — engage us all in useful discussions that teach and that enable success.  Think about this…

  • How can a company build an organizational structure that will simplify the recruiting process?
  • How can a business track training, qualifications and competencies on its employees AND use that data to identify the best fit for an open position?
  • How can social media help an organization recruit, retain, promote?
  • How can an HR department simplifiy the massive amounts of paperwork required on employees?
  • How can a learning solution use an external course provider instead of constantly developing their own training material AND ensure that their in-house Learning Solultion “talks” back and forth with the external course provider?
  • How can managers who are constantly traveling track and manage their staff?  What mobile solutions can we offer?
  • How can we entice and engage managers to manage the data and their employees themselves — not pawn it off to some administrator?
  • How can managers share data about a candidate for a position and still maintain data privacy?

The answers are not all just in the HCM Comunity.  They are out there – in many different communities.  And in HCM….we’re casting for users and for technical wizards to join our discussion.  Register now for the pre-conference session on Integrated Talent Management and be part of the solution.  Read on to learn more about the May 15th pre-conference and who will be there to lead us thru the discussions.

Picture this seminar as a “Day in the Life” of a company managing their talent, and how SAP solutions can help.
