Talking to fellow users and customers in the SAP BusinessObjects community, the biggest complaints they have are getting the updated product information and getting the customer support they need. Another common complaint is the difficulty on finding up-to-date information on the SAP web site. You know what? SAP is listening and is doing something about it.

SAP has started a concerted effort to provide relevant and up-to-date information for the SAP Business Analytics customers in one place….and there is no better place than SCN.

On Friday 4/15/2011, an SAP Business Analytics Product and Support Tips web page will officially be launched on the Business Analytics Community section of SCN.

This web page contains the latest information to improve the planning, maintenance and implementation experience of SAP BusinessObjects software located in the Business Analytics Community web site.

Some of the useful tips and information include:

— Recent product name changes for the SAP Business Intelligence 4.0 product release
— How to download SAP BusinessObjects software
— How to request SAP BusinessObjects license keys
— How to book a live demonstration of the SAP Support Portal
— List of the latest SAP BusinessObjects solutions on SAP Idea Place where you can submit feedback
— Where to find information about SAP BI 4.0 and EIM 4.0

In addition, ASUG (America’s SAP User Group) is working diligently with SAP on providing more relevant information on the Business Analytics Community section. This is a very good start and will continue to be better when the Business Analytics Community site evolves into the one-stop-shopping place for all the Business Analytics related information.

This web page will be updated on a regular basis to bring you the latest tips and news. So be sure to visit frequently.
