“Mobility for SAP” is planned to also runs on SAP Sybase SUP mobile platform.
So the Sybase SUP product range gets enlarged to an online and player based mobile solution with SAP ERP, CRM and Workflow integration.

Use it with SUP if you want to benefit from Sybase SUP like monitoring and a single access point for all mobile users.
Use it without SUP and connect the smartphone directly to the backend if you not yet have the requirements for the mobile platform advantages or want to start simple.
The migration path to use the SUP later is simple: When your demand grows just plug the SUP in between and change the configuration on the client.

Success proved: CRM integration installed at customers test system in 3 hours. Workflow integration implemented in 2 days.

The Android player is available too. iPhone is in development with target Q2/2011.
With the player concept the customer does not need to develop on the smartphone. The Player shows the content whoch comes from the backend and is developed in abap.

New Training material with 4 hours of video and cookbooks enable an ABAP Developer to create own mobile apps after 2 days of training.
