Hello my friends,

I’ve been starting work as SAP Support Consultant in functional area of Payroll Singapore since year 2008 as well as covering other country payroll in South East Asia.(Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines). currently, i’m mainly responsible for Singapore-specific legal changes in HR system and HCM-based E-Recruiting functionalities, with APJ HCM Support Team for SAP Business Suite & Technology.

Since last year, i’ve been invited to start a new session in Wiki of SDN to introduce some general process and functionalities of Singapore payroll.

Here are the shortcut which are mainly updating the official news from Singapore Authority. As SAP component SGCHR is syncronized with the legal change requirement of madantory. I think the webpages are very helpful for each payroll Singapore consultant to know the information in a timely manner.

    Dear Leo,

seems that you have lots of experience with SAP HCM for Asia.

I have a question regarding SAP HCM with payroll for Singapore and hope you could help me.

We have a global HCM system for all european plants and we will introduce SAP HCM in China as well. But our office in Singapore is very small, less than 20 employees. Does it make sense to use SAP HCM including payroll in Singapore or is the workload too high?

Does it make sense to use only administration and time management in SAP and use an interface to a 3rd party software for payroll? If yes, do you know any third party software which has standard interfaces to SAP? Best would be a software that can be used in Singapore, Australia and China.

    Thanks and best regards

    Marius
