Today I would like to give you some insight into two major components of SAP Enterprise Support: SAP Enterprise Support Academy and its Expert Guided Services. The SAP Enterprise Support Academy is a newly launched resource that provides customers with a powerful combination of training, practical experience, and expertise on demand. Expert guided services are a newly optimized, short-term services to guide customers through the technical steps of implementing best practices for operations like Expert Guided Implementation for Application Lifecycle Management in SAP Solution Manager, including basic configuration settings, business process monitoring setup, custom development management, and more. One example is the Expert Guided Implementation for Basic Configuration which helps you set up SAP Solution Manager.

      Hello Christian

      Interesting content, there is one link in the blog that isn’t working properly ‘expert guided service’ but for those interested, you can access it through the previous link provided in the blog.

      I’m going to check this out for sure, it sounds very interesting. One question though, when a company has enterprise support, you can register for a expert guided session and there is without additional costs attached to it?

        Regarding your question: Yes, in case your company  has chosen SAP Enterprise Support you can use up to five days remote support services per calendar year from SAP solution architects without additional costs.

        For each EGI one day of the remote support service entitlement for SAP solution architects will be used. More information can be found here: http://service.sap.com/~sapidb/011000358700001780312008E
