By now you most likely have heard about the SAP BusinessObjects 4.0 release which includes new version of the BI suite and EIM suite. So far you might have seen presentations or you followed webinars, but unless you are part of the official RampUp chances are high that you actually have not got your hands "dirty" up to this point.

Now here are your two chances to have a full day hands on workshop based on the SAP BusinessObjects 4.0 BI product suite with me as your trainer:

The first option is a Pre-Confernece as part of the ASUG / SAPPHIRE conference in May this year.

The workshop is scheduled as a pre-conference workshop and you can find the details here (Page 6) and register for the workshop here.

The second option is the SAP BusinessObjects Conference organized by the great team of Eventful Management in Sydney, Australia from June 06 - June 08, 2011.

The workshop is scheduled on June 08, 2011 and you can find the details here.

A short abstract of what those workshops will cover:

In this workshop you will learn how to use the new BI 4.0 products as  part of your SAP landscape. The workshop will provide you  with practical oriented guidance and best practices that you can  leverage right away at your own company. You will learn about  topics such as data connectivity for SAP ERP and SAP NetWeaver BW, user  management, data security and portal integrations. You will get to  experience the following products yourself:

  • SAP Crystal Reports
  • SAP BusinessObjects Explorer
  • Analysis, Microsoft Offi ce Edition
  • Analysis, OLAP Edition
  • Web Intelligence
  • SAP BusinessObjects Dashboards (formerly Xcelsius)

All the products are based on the latest release 4.0 of SAP  BusinessObjects and the workshop will focus on the integration of  these products with your SAP landscape.

I am really looking forward to these two workshops and all the great people willing to learn more about SAP BusinessObjects 4.0 in an actual hands-on driven workshop.
