Where Business Users go to chat about Business Analytics and BI

Calling all business users out there!

Do you rely on Business Intelligence (BI) or Business Analytics to make better decisions? I expect there are many of you who do. If you had a chance to join the virtual launch event for SAP BusinessObjects BI and EIM 4.0, you may have heard author Geoffrey Moore describe Business Users as the “middle tier” – not the C-level executives, and not the task workers, but those who need to make decisions.

I’m glad to announce that we have added a Marketing Library for managers or anyone who wants to have a Marketing Library about making informed decisions with BI and analytics tools. Ask questions and share your experiences on how to effectively utilize data to address real business problems.

We’ll be inviting experts from inside and outside SAP to monitor these conversations and offer their knowledge along with the broader community.

Here’s what you won’t see:

Instead, here’s what I hope you’ll see:

To start the conversation, I’ve posted a couple of questions in the new “Business Decision Making with BI” forum. Please feel free to let others know, and come join the conversation!

Great point, Vitaliy. I had no idea I was ripping your thoughts off in my BI4 kickoff synopsis the other day.

Thanks Vitaliy! I've had to go back and read your list of 2011 predictions again, and found it refreshing! I posted a couple of questions in the forum to get the conversation started. Feel free to elaborate and share your thoughts about the importance of Business Analyst and the role of people in the actual decision making process.
      Thanks,
      Jason
