What are Analytics Notifications (formerly called BusinessObjects Notifications)?

Analytics Notifications allow customers to be notified when Service Packs, Support Packages, Fix Packs, and Patches are released for Analytics and BusinessObjects software products that you have purchased. This also applies to products that use Reference Data/Address Directories.

Notifications are only emailed to customers when they subscribe to both the SAP Support Portal Newsletter and to the Analytics Notifications.

  • All individuals at your company that wish to receive notifications must have a valid S-User ID for the SAP Service Marketplace and sign up individually for the notifications and newsletter: http://service.sap.com/notifications
  • In order to receive notifications you must define a filter for the product(s) you need notification on.
  • Filters can only be defined for purchased SAP products with valid maintenance contracts. IMPORTANT: If you own address directories/reference data, be sure to add them to your filter as well.
  • If email is not preferred, save the Analytics Notifications page to your list of Favorites on the SAP Service Marketplace and check it periodically: http://service.sap.com/sbop-updates
