When you are working to help the support of an organization you often find that you need to find the PI message from an IDOC. This can be quite a problem. But it is quite easy. This video shows how it is possible.

I seems to have some problems with adding the youtube video, but you can see the video at http://www.piarchitecture.com/2011/02/find-idoc-easy-in-the-pi-monitor/

    Hi Daniel,

Nice tip. Once you know the IDOC number(s) from we02 or elsewhere, you can simply paste them into “IDoc Number” field (IDX5 on PI), execute and it will show the relevant PI Message(s). I think this will help avoid a few steps digging for the Transaction ID from each of the IDocs.

    Thanks,
    Badari
