ASUG Business Intelligence Volunteer Derek Loranca: “We’re not leaving any content behind”
One of this weekend’s highlights at the America’s SAP User Group (ASUG) Volunteer meeting in Chicago was seeing and spending time with fellow volunteers. At this meeting, as How many community volunteers fit into an elevator? said, we look to finalize ASUG Annual Conference planning, plan out the rest of the year’s events, and work on Influence Councils.
A huge highlight too was seeing NFC Champions Green Bay Packers arrive at the Westin hotel Saturday (4 tour buses)! It was like the TV show Entourage, where Packer fans stood outside in the freezing cold, cheering their team on. Additionally many of us got to see them depart the hotel for the game yesterday. One fellow volunteer even rode the elevator down with Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers who asked “what is all this ASUG stuff I see?”
Derek Loranca, ASUG BI, discusses below what the volunteers did this weekend, and what ASUG members can look forward to in 2011:
One of the goals this year is to increase awareness of BI 4.0/EIM 4.0. We have the following ASUG BI 4.0 Webinars this week:
January 26: WebIntelligence 4.0 – registration is FULL
January 27:SAP BusinessObjects 4.0 Integration with SAP
We also have *twelve* EIM 4.0 Webcasts coming in March and April.
Another goal is to expand our ASUG Influence Councils:
So as Derek says, we’re not leaving any content behind!
