Currently, SAP CRM sales provides  5-type report:

  • Dashboards
  • Crystal reports
  • Interactive Reporting
  • BOBJ Explorer (former polestar)
  • BW Reporting

As one type of the CRM sales reporting,  the CRM interactive reporting  provides a highly intuitive report creation wizard and also an intuitive, easy to use end-user interface, when online, real-time CRM data - and only CRM data - is needed, with short reporting timeframe : days, weeks, months. From the tables or charts it is possible to navigate to the corresponding CRM overview pages. It is also possible to export the report result to Excel for local analysis.

In the report itself the business users can create their personal report views, including predefined parameters, and report settings.

This blog would introduce the new content for sales interactive reporting in CRM 7.0 EhP1.

In this step you may define filter, parameters, conditions. Here I defined top 10 based on sales order's gross value.

Step 4 Define table

In this step, you may define table's layout.

Step 5 Define chart

In this step, you may choose chart type, like pie chart, bar chart, colomn chart.

Step 6 Assign Business Role

In this step, you may assign the report to business role work center as required.

Step 7 Share interactive report

I had instroducted this feature. And you may also skip this step. After clicking finish, the interactive report is created.

Now you can find it is really easy to create an interactive report, No BI knowledge is necessary and the data you get is Real-time.
