If you have already processed your job using Presort 8.00c.05.02, Business Edition 8.00c.03.02, or DeskTop Mailer 8.00c.03.02 (or prior versions) there are a few things that you can do:
If you have verified and paid for the mailing prior to January 2nd, and you plan on dropping your mail after January 2nd you will be fine. If you are using Mail.dat and uploading to PostalOne! you will be fine there also.
A few options that you will have if you are not using Mail.dat, or have not already paid and verified your mail is:
1. Represort the job. With this option however you do take a chance of the sort or postage changing.
2. Handwrite a Postage Statement.
3. Speak with Postal Clerk and see if they will still accept the mailing and will do an override.
For all mailings that are dropped after January 2nd you should be using: Presort 8.00c.06.01, Business Edition 8.00c.04.00, or DeskTop Mailer 8.00c.04.00.
