excellent - I like the background information about ResourceBundles and how they are cached by the SAP utilities classes. One thing I didn't get: how do the properties of my new application win over the properties of the original?
well, that is an easy lookup scheme being used: the custom implementation of ResourceAccessor.getMessageText(Locale, String) would first look in the customer bundle and as a fallback into teh standard bundle.
