We were using a RFC call to function HRRCF_CREATE_REQUISITION on our talent management system in order to create HCM requisitions, but such requisitions were seemingly being created without the obligatory field of recruiter being set:
However, if we went to the "support team" tab on the requisition, we would see that a recruiter had been defined. The problem appears to be that the requisition creation function had no way of defining which of the recruiters were the "LEAD" recruiter.
The support team for an individual requisiton is defined in infotype 5131, note the LEAD colum on the far right:
