All – By being a Technical (BASIS) consultant regualr activities of monitoring are creating a bore feeling and bull work.

System monitoring, Db monitoring,Application monitoring, Patch updates, Configurations, Applcation Upgrades, DB upgrades, Installations, Migrations etc.

I just wanted to avoid daily routine work from my regular activities. So I tried to automate some of the things what I can do.Successfully implemented some of the processes of daily monitoring.

Here is the customized program which enables Automatic background job monitoring and sends the confirmation to all Cancelled job owners.

Below program runs daily as a background job and monitors all the background jobs and intimates the owner of all cancelled jobs via mail.

    Hi Nick,

Why introducing a new bit of code whem CCMS MTE R3BPServerSpecAbortedJobs set with an Auto-reaction Method can send you a mail when/if a job fail?

    Sometimes less is more.

      Hi Juan,

It is used when the customer doesn’t have CCMS functionality (I mean not enabled). Its a bit of code wherever we can manage the system out of issues (With critical background jobs) and the main useful functionality of this code is it directly sends an email to owner of the falied job so he can take an immediate action.

*Yes- its a better and strong recommendation to configure CCMS in SAP systems for proactive monitoring and alerts
