What a difference a Quarter can make!

Buddy, can you spare a quarter? No, that’s not exactly the topic of today’s blog. So many times, however, your team is asked to do the impossible “ASAP!”  How can you respond to these demands responsibly, and yet keep the risk to you and your company at a minimum?  I think the answer is to improve the “certainty” that your solution will meet your organization’s challenges. /people/david.kraemer/blog

If you could make progress toward your ultimate goal within a quarter year’s time, and launch a project with certainty of…

  • Ø Scope, right from the start,
  • Ø Price, up front,
  • Ø Measurement for the project’s success, right from the beginning, and
  • Ø A “future proofed” investment where expended resources grow with you,

…you would be interested, wouldn’t you?  (Please refer to prior blogs I have written on this topic to learn more about the details of how these promises are achieved).

On October 1st, five new Rapid Deployment solutions were generally released, providing offerings for IT Service Desk Operation, as well as Sustainability Analytics solutions in the areas of SAP EHS Management for health and safety, environmental compliance, and product safety and stewardship. These five complement the Rapid Deployment solutions for SAP CRM for Sales, Service, and Marketing, Business Communications Management, and SAP SRM Self-Service Procurement that were introduced in September.

These are worth looking into, if for no other reason than to provide a checkpoint for your current business management software strategy. What’s more, your personal success in meeting the organizational demands set forth by the Lines of Business leadership in your company with a high certainty and lower risk of scope, time, cost, and outcome, can be enhanced in the process.

And all of this within a quarter of a year-because you don’t have a quarter to spare!
